MANA consults and partners with individuals, organisations and government departments that are seeking to improve engagement and services with Pasifika peoples in Australia. Our services range across (but not limited to) research, policy, programming and professional development.
Queensland Health: The Good Start Program
The Good Start Program (GSP) is the only Pasifika-specified program within Queensland government. The GSP seeks to inspire Pasifika peoples to make healthy choices.
MANA is contracted to GSP to provide cultural training to the GSP team, in order to culturally-inform service delivery and assist to improve engagement. MANA also provides policy, research, and conceptual advice where required.
Victoria Department of Justice and Regulation:
Since early 2017, MANA has been contracted to design, implement and evaluate the “MANA TOA Pasifika Youth Justice Program: Bridging Detention to Reintegration” framework. Working within the Malmsbury and Parkville Youth Justice Detention Centres in Melbourne, MANA project manages the cultural programs in collaboration with lead agency Essential Recruitment Personnel and Tu Tane Program; a multi-disciplinary approach to supporting our youth from detention to reintegration into community.
